Isa Yuguda: EFCC To Seal His Seven Houses In Abuja
By Sola Sadiq
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has concluded plans to seal off seven palatial houses belonging to the former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda.
The houses include six duplexes in highbrow Maitama and Maitama Extension areas and another property in Asokoro. The property in Asokoro, it was learnt, is where his last wife, Aisha, daughter of late President Umaru Yar’Adua currently lives.
If the EFCC goes ahead with its plan, Yuguda’s houses under the safe custody of the anti-graft agency would increase to 14, as another seven blocks of eye-catching duplexes located in Bauchi close to the Government House, had earlier been sealed up.
This development is coming on the heels of unconfirmed reports that the former governor has not been enjoying the best of health in the last few years.
Yuguda had temporarily relocated to the United Kingdom shortly after he stepped down as governor in 2015, a move taken to properly attend to his alleged ailing health.
